The detached residence replaces a demolished villa on a site facing east including a private beach.
The house is concentrated on a smaller area of the site so that the unity appears like a house in a park.
The intention was to create a house that provides sheltered outdoor areas, maximum utilisation of the views from the different rooms, maximum access to the sun and that is flexible in its use. The consequence of these intentions is that the house is elevated with the main rooms situated around an atrium facing the sun and the views.
The main construction is executed in exposed white concrete cast in situ up to the first floor slab. A steel structure is used for walls and roof of the first floor, clad in zinc and oak board.
