Villa Wilhelmsen

Location: Asker
Size: 240 m2
Status: Completed 2008

This house was designed for a single houshold requiring a large workshop space to work on vintage cars and scooters.

The situation proved challenging as the small plot receives little direct sunlight, and is easily looked in upon by neighboring houses and passing cars and pedestrians.

The main concept of the house was to focus the building internally towards a tree covered small cliff, which receives a lot of sunlight. The only opening on the street facade is a large window towards an impressive view of the Oslo Fjord.
