This project is a replacement for an older cabin on its own small island just north of Jomfruland. The existing cabin was located at the level of the pier, only one meter above the mean water level. The new cabin has been lifted one half floor but has retained storage functions at the pier level. Another half-level up is the living room and the bedroom that provides a covered opening between the pier and the west-facing patio.

There are patios on the east and west sides of the cottage, with a transparent kitchen/dining room in-between. This provides contact to the view of Jomfruland from both patios.
