Fåbro Gård was built in 1750 by Christian Braunmann Tullin, poet and city councillor, who also established one of the area's earliest industrial enterprises. As one of the oldest building at Lilleaker, it has remained a constant presence through the site's transformation from farmland to industrial district and, eventually, the residential neighbourhood it is today.

The project builds on the existing buildings and landscape. New additions accommodate a bakery and production kitchen, a café, and spaces for courses and events. Fåbro Hage extends these activities into the garden, strengthening the connection between the buildings and the surrounding landscape while creating new places to meet and supporting the site's urban farming initiatives.

The new volumes are arranged around the main house, forming a shared courtyard between them. Constructed in timber and other natural materials, they draw on local building traditions and relate closely to the character of the existing farmstead.
